Laura Hambleton

Laura's lifelong passion for children's books began even before she graduated from Norwich School of Art. Her major project book was published following graduation and went on to win a prestigious V&A Illustration Award.

Laura has continuously worked for a variety of children's publishers in London as Designer and then as Art Director. She has worked across many fiction and non-fiction genres including baby and pre-school, picture books, novelty, licencing and young adult.

Laura has also written and illustrated over 20 published works and designed a variety of award winning titles working with talented writers and illustrators. She is passionate about children’s book design and her career spans over 20 years in publishing.
